On 7 November 2024, the RTE News2Day team, led by Barry Gallagher, visited St Andrew's College, Dublin for the school's annual SciFest@School STEM fair. Over 170 second-year students presented an impressive 92 projects, showcasing a standard of innovation and dedication that was truly remarkable.
These young innovators tackled real-world issues with insightful research and creative solutions, leaving attendees and judges in awe of their talent and commitment to STEM. Each project highlighted not only a solid technical foundation but also a genuine passion for making a difference.
It was an inspiring day, and events like these continue to remind us of the bright future ahead, driven by the next generation of thinkers and changemakers.
