Aaron Hannon was the SciFest SFI Intel ISEF Award winner and the Boston Scientific Grand Award winner at the SciFest National Final in 2017. This qualified him to compete at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2018 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where he received a first in his category, Embedded Systems. Aaron’s winning project at Intel ISEF was a device designed to assist people with limited hand dexterity to shave.

Aaron has since gone on to do great things. The company he co founded was recently awarded €4.5M in #DTIF grant funding to build Lilac: the world's first portable, preventative and patient-focused solution to chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy. This amazing accomplishment is just one more step on what has been an incredible journey so far. Aaron's ability to relentlessly search for solutions to problems and find innovative ways to improve the world is the key to this success and many more to come.

Unable to attend the SciFest 2022 National Final as he was showcasing Luminate Medical on stage at Slush in Helsinki he sent the following inspiring message to the Scifest 2022 National Finalists.
