SciFest@TCPID 2023
The annual SciFest@TCPID (Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities) took place in Regent House, Trinity College Dublin on 1 June. The students, James, Jodie, Oscar, Conor, Liam and Cliodhna were just amazing. With the support of mentors from Abbott they had been working hard on their projects for a number of weeks. All the hard work paid off as they confidently spoke about their projects to an captivated audience which included: Linda Doyle, Provost and President, TCD, parents and grandparents, TCPID alumni, representatives from industry and SciFest judges, Sheila and George Porter.
It was a day to be remembered and we congratulate the TCPID team (especially Marie Devitt, Pathways Coordinator at Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities), the students, James, Jodie, Oscar, Conor, Liam, Cliodhna and Diarmuid and their mentors from Abbott. Well done all.
