Clare Joins the SciFest Team

Exciting News! We're thrilled to introduce our newest team member at SciFest - Clare Atkinson! 🌟

Clare brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of STEM education, and we couldn't be more delighted to have her on board. Her enthusiastic passion for all things STEM aligns perfectly with our mission here at SciFest. In her role at SciFest Clare will collaborate closely with the Medtronic Foundation to expand SciFest's reach to DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) schools across Ireland.

In 2011 Clare completed a Bachelor of Science (Education) in the University of Limerick in She went on to become a teacher of Physics, Biology, and Agricultural Science in Wicklow and Meath. In 2019, Clare joined the Biology Department of Maynooth University. In 2021, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate from Trinity College Dublin in Innovation and Enterprise Development and subsequently joined Firecrest - ICON's Innovative Site & Patient Platform.

We are looking forward to the innovative contributions Clare will bring to the team and the positive impact she'll have on the SciFest programme.
